Triple talaq violates Article 21, woman tells SC
NEW DELHI: Can an arbitrary and unilateral divorce through triple talaq deprive the wife of her rights in the matrimonial home and custody of her children, a Muslim woman asked in her petition before the Supreme Court on Tuesday while challenging the constitutional validity of the process to end a marriage.
