Escort services and prostitution run professionally through internet: Goa CM

PANAJI: The chief minister of Goa Laxmikant Parsekar told state Legislative Assembly on Tuesday, that escort services and prostitution are being professionally run via internet. The Cyber Crime Police Station is empowered to registered cases only under IT Act and Intellectual property rights related cases. The cases under ITP Act are not registered at Cyber Crime police station,” said Parsekar. “”The contact numbers and email addresses published on the escort sites are analyzed, the ownership established and the data is shared with crime branch for further action.
