37% rural youth sans Internet access: Study
Official website of National Institute of Technology (NIT) was hacked for the second consecutive day on Friday with all sub-domains crashing this time. Cyber experts later retrieved the site, which was also hit by a Pakistani hacker on Thursday. Files were not damaged, but homepage was defaced.
After sharing TOI’s online report on Facebook wall, Pakistani hacker Faisal Afsal alerted this correspondent at 2.14 am saying — “Website security of NIT is low again. All sub-domains hacked. Despite warning, they didn’t secure the site.”
Talking to TOI, 18-year-old Faisal said that community of more than 15 young hackers has united to form Pakistan Cyber Hackers (PCA).
