37% rural youth sans Internet access: Study
Now tourists visiting the Promenade Beach and Chunnambar Beach resort will be able to access hi-speed Internet with the famed tourist spots being Wi-Fi enabled as part of the Digital India campaign.
The Wi-Fi facility has been rolled out by BSNL in association with the Directorate of Information Technology of the Puducherry government.
To start with, Wi-Fi facility has been introduced at the Beach Promenade. Necessary infrastructure and latest equipment have been set up at Le Cafe run by the Puducherry Tourism Development Corporation.
