37% rural youth sans Internet access: Study
As the district administration gears up to be part of the nationwide call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making a ‘Digital India’ and ensure that at least one person in every household is digitally literate, it is yet to address the problem of inadequate internet connectivity in the district. The campaign will be marked by events spread over a week starting from July 3, wherein various activities will be organised under the National Digital Literacy Mission (NDLM). The aim is to educate the government employees, including the Angadwari workers, Asha workers, government officers, and residents about the use of online facilities of the government.
