37% rural youth sans Internet access: Study
Indirapuram – Ramandeep, An Engineer working with a MNC in Gurgaon and living in Indirapuram has been cheated by the cyber criminals. On Tuesday evening, he received a phone call asking for his debit card number. The caller pretended to be from the HR Department of the company he works for. Since the call was from his company Ramandeep gave his card number innocently. Soon he got a message from his bank that 5,000 rupees have been debited from his account. Ramandeep immediately blocked his card and lodged a complaint at Indirapuram Police
