37% rural youth sans Internet access: Study
The State Bank of India (SBI), Bhandara branch, has been asked by Maharashtra government to pay Rs 3 lakh compensation to a senior citizen who lost his lifetime savings of Rs 3.77 lakh to fraudulent ATM and online transactions. Bhandara-based complainant Motiram Tekam was told to partially bear the loss of Rs 77,000 as he handed over his ATM-cum-debit card to an unknown person.
