37% rural youth sans Internet access: Study
Bharti Airtel today announced its partnership with the Madhya Pradesh government for one of its Digital India Week initiatives.
As part of this, the company rolled out ‘E-Shakti’, a scheme to build Internet awareness and literacy among women in Madhya Pradesh, the company said in a statement.
“Internet has the potential to transform society into a strong, prosperous & progressive ecosystem. The increased adoption of Internet among women in Madhya Pradesh would help bridge the digital divide,” Bharti Airtel CEO for MP and Chhattisgarh Vir Inder Nath said.
