During the occasion of the Science Congress on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stressed on the need for digital connectivity and its significance. He equated it with school education and claimed it was a “basic right” for children, much like education.
This was said by the PM while inaugurating the 102nd Indian Science Congress in Mumbai. He said, “School education in science and mathematics should become more creative and stimulating. Let us also use the internet to bring the best of our scientists in direct contact with our children and our youth. Digital connectivity should become as much a basic right as access to school.”
