37% rural youth sans Internet access: Study
In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq emphasizing that incidents of civilian killings in the territory are unacceptable, has said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s assertions about engaging Pakistan and Kashmiri people in a dialogue process have proved hollow.Addressing a daylong session of delegates in Srinagar, the Mirwaiz said, there is no truth in the claims of BJP that the Modi’s one year in his office has changed the lives. “The fact remains that the Prime Minister Modi has failed on all fronts especially on his commitment to engaging Pakistan and Kashmiri people in a dialogue process. Instead, what he has choked the political space of pro-freedom leaders in Kashmir,” he added.
