37% rural youth sans Internet access: Study
Minister for Information Technology, Youth Services and Sports Moulvi Imran Raza Ansari has said that significant progress in the field of core IT infrastructure has been made, adding that State Data Centre is fully functional. He said 5 State Service Delivery Gateway (SSDG) services have already been launched and touched the mandated number (1109) of CSCs for J&K. He said “we are also working towards finalizing the State Wide Area Network (SWAN)”.
The Minister was speaking at a function organized by the Information technology Department for Open Interaction and Discussion with eminent people, technocrats, and domain experts from the Information Technology Industry in J&K at SKICC today.
