37% rural youth sans Internet access: Study
Teenagers in India are at a greater risk of encountering threats on their mobile devices, says a study. 54 percent of the respondents say that young adults are more likely to commit mobile-related crime like revenge porn. The study by Norton by Symantec that consisted of 1,005 Indian smartphone and tablet users aged 16 years and above further revealed that leakage of personal information (36 percent), a virus/malware infection (33 percent) revenge porn and cyberstalking (30 percent) are among the top vulnerabilities that teenagers are at risk.
